Back To The Mainland And Across The Pacific

One last Kauai sunset

Sitting in sunny Southern California, wispy clouds blow over in the heat of the day. Sirens blare by at any give time of the day. In the night loud pops that vaguely sound like gun shots echo through the streets.

My original plan was to go to New Zealand directly from Kauai. Turns out it was just as cheap for me to come back and visit family and fly out from LA to New Zealand. Funny how that works with airlines.

The past couple weeks have gone by fast due to the stress of getting my visa in order and the busy days with the family. Today I leave for New Zealand and will have traveled over fifty hours and over 12,440 miles since I left for Kauai in the winter.

Sorry for the lack of an exciting post but hopefully a few photos will do.
